My business process

The business process that I have recently participated in is tutoring. A business process consist of activities, resources, facilities, and information. For tutoring activists would be teaching children and collecting pay. Resources include school material and textbooks. As in Facilities i provide them with knowledge and test papers. My home is also part of the facilities i have given to them. My car is one of the example as i use it to go to their house to teach them. information includes students grades and evaluations which tells how they are
progressing and what course of
action should be taken to help them further.

My Favourite Sustainable and Disruptive Technologies

As an example of Disruptive Technology i use ipod/itunes in my daily life. ipod is just the most recent iteration of another disruptive technology. In less then two years the iPod has virtually monopolized the mp3, and portable music industry. It destroyed the Sony walkman. Ebay is also one of the disruptive technology i use on daily basis. on Ebay people can buy used item and they can even buy it online so other company loses their sales. Digital cameras are also disruptive technology. Kodak has retracted their statement and proclaimed from now on they are only going to be producing digital camera's. One of my favourite sustainable technology is USB Key.
It helps transfer files more easily. most importantly when the internet does not work and you need the file, than you dont have to open the mail box and you can just use USB key to upload the file.

My IS Day

There are many Information System that I utilize within 24 hour period. Five components of Information system are hardware, software, data, procedure and people. For example MSN and Facebook.Both Facebook and MSN computer Hardware such as Keyboard, Monitor, Mouse etc. Software includes Internet Connection. These social websites need internet connection to work.procedure includes signing up for membership, chatting, playing games, sharing pictures and other files, reading latest news, checking email, etc. creators, maintainers and users of the program are the people.the other most important Information System widely used by me as well as other people is Google. Same as Facebook and MSN, this also needs computer hardware and internet connection as a software. Data includes information from many sources presented as websites. The procedure of the information system is to search keywords, sign up for membership for free services like emails, Google video, Google books, etc. creators of the search engine, maintainers, contributors, site creaters that contribute to the database of sites, and users who search and explore sites are the people.

My Awards and honours

when I was in grade 11 and I was a part of science research project. We had to research on a particular topic for one month and then present it with model in front of science major representatives. There was a great deal of hard work I put into that project and got second prize amongst fifteen other research projects. All members of the group including me individually got award for this project.The Second award was when I was in grade 10 for an essay writing competition on state level. I was the only one from my school who was representing my school. The essay was 10 pages both sided. I had to memorize the whole essay and write it in good hand writing because both those aspects were important to the judgment. The morning that I was to write my essay, accidentally I broke my ear drum. I had my essay competition starting in 3 hours. In that time I went to the doctor and went for the competition. I wrote the whole essay and when I got my results; my school announced that I got 1st prize in the competition and received a very respectable award for this competition.

Business Leaders I Admire

One of the business leaders I admire is Mukesh Ambani, the owner of Reliance Company in India. He was an individual that started his career under his father’s observation. His father was also a great business man. Mukesh Ambani has won many awards and accolades. He was chosen as the ET Business leader in 2006. Mukesh Ambani was ranked 42nd among the World's Most Respected Business Leaders in a survey conducted by Price waterhouse Coopers and published in Financial Times, London in 2004. He also received the Asia Society Leadership Award given by the Asia Society, Washington D.C., USA.

My community Involvement

In year 2004 I volunteer at graphics design company who makes wedding invitation card and posters. While I was volunteering I worked on many different orders. These orders include wedding invitation card, reception card, posters, coupons etc. Working in graphic design company is fun as well as we getting learnt something different.
In year 2006 I volunteered in Ram Mandir. At this location I was able to assist the community through dedicating my personal time every weekend where large numbers of Hindu religion followers got together for prayers and a meal.

My Educational Achievements

The most eventful day for me was when I was in grade 10. In India grade 10 is most important year of a person’s career and future. This year basically decides which educational line you are going to take or which career you are going to choose to pursue. It is also important because if you fail in this year, even one course, you have to stay home for 1 year and do the exam next year. The exams for this year are really hard and they are national level. This exam is called board exams. I finished my board exams in March in year 2004 and the results were out in May. I was not scared as I was confident that I will get good marks. When got my results I was again top in the school with highest marks in math, computer science and english. The other good thing about this was having my picture in the newspaper, as I have got good marks and it was national level exams.

My personal Goals

One of my personal goals is to finish 3 years at Sheridan and get a diploma. After that I want to do further studies at Western University to get degree. While I do that I’ll want to work part time in order to get a head start to paying off my education and experience in the line of my career. After I finish university and get degree I want to take break for one year and work full time. After this one year I want to do MBA and get masters degree and get a nice job and settle down. Buying me a nice house and 7th series BMW is also one of my personal goals for me to reward myself for all the effort I have put into my having a well-settled life.
